She was born in California, Santa Monica on November 26, 1986. She is the daughter of Vincenzo Barba the father of her and Valerie Barba. At the age of six, her family moved to Point Pleasant New Jersey. She completed her education at Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. She then attended Catholic University and graduated with an associate's degree in architecture. The violin was first played in the age of four and she was known as the Violin Girl.
